MEET THE WINEMAKER SERIES: RAMZI GOHSN FROM CHATEAU MASSAYA

Join winemaker Ramzi Gohsn, from pioneering Lebanese winery Château Massaya, to taste four of their wines. 

The Ghosn family were forced to flee their home because of the Lebanese civil war. 17 years later brothers Sami and Ramzi returned to reclaim their home and build Chateau Massaya.

Join us for a live tasting experience winemaker Ramzi Ghosn. Over four wines, and little arak, Ramzi will share details on his natural approach to winemaking, what makes Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley such a special place for viticulture, about their partnerships with some of the most highly acclaimed producers in France, and you can find out what it’s like when harvest falls at the same time that the army instructs you to lay low due to some military activity in your vicinity. 

The event includes a tasting of four wines and some arak,  led live on-screen by Ramzi Gohsn  with The Tasting Class and a cheeseboard to accompany your wines.
