Virtual Tasting – Chardonnay 101

We’ve teamed up with A to Za’atar to deliver a series of fun, FREE, virtual tastings that you can join from the comfort of your own home. This event is called, ‘Chardonnay 101’ (more details below).

The Tasting

Chardonnay is the most planted white grape globally, so we hope that everyone has a bottle handy that they are ready to drink with us. Since it’s so widely available we get different styles and flavours from different parts of the world. Join us to find the right Chardonnay profile for your tastes. 

What we’re having:

1.Joseph Drouhin Chablis (approx AED 150). Alternative bottle: Any French Chablis.

2. Craggy Range Kidnappers Vineyard Chardonnay (approx AED 160). Alternative bottle: Any moderate climate Chardonnay. Regions that do this style include Burgundy, New Zealand and Australia. 

3. Kenwood Chardonnay (approx AED 108). Alternative bottle: Any American Chardonnay.

4. Moet & Chandon Champagne (approx AED 265). Alternative bottle: Any Champagne or sparkling bottle containing Chardonnay. If you feel like treating yourself, even more, open a Blanc de Blancs Champagne. 

All the grapes have been sourced from MMI in Dubai and Spinneys in Abu Dhabi, who are offering a 10% discount off bubbles, grapes & spirits when you show this email in-store. However, if you’re already well-stocked, just grab a similar bottle (suggestions below), such as the same grape variety, and join in!
