While we have the old (and ancient!) world to thank for modern winemaking techniques, the new world has been creative in adapting these traditions to develop their wine industry.
Typically, there are differences in the wine styles produced by both ‘worlds’, but now – some new world styles are proving to be more popular, and perhaps also the benchmark, for the old world. Yet, some old world styles continue to be iconic!
