Girard Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley, California – AED 86.10
In the spirit of ‘Dry’ January, we’re kicking things off with a dry white wine: the Girard Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley. With over 40 years of winemaking expertise, Girard has carved out a reputation for crafting small-batch wines, blending to enhance complexity and for creating wines using indiginous yeast.

This Sauvignon Blanc is suprising full bodied, bursting with bright citrus, peach, and the signature Napa pineapple goodness. The complexity of this wine comes from blending grapes grown in two distinct vineyard sites. While Pomerol is known for ultra-premium wines, Lalande-de-Pomerol is known for producing approachable yet elegant wines, that offers a taste of the majic of Merlot without the hefty price tag.

Château Perron dates back to 1642, making it one of the oldest estates in the region. This 2019 vintage is a rare find at just 115 AED, offering the benefit of a little bottle age. Over time, red wines soften and develop savory, complex notes, making this vintage a delight to savor.
