Rare American Whiskies Have Landed at The Bottle Store

By May, 09 2025

If you’ve ever attended one of our Whisky Origin Stories tasting events, you’ll know we have a soft spot for Bourbon. So when we heard that The Bottle Store had just landed a rare and curated selection of boutique American whiskies, we had to spread the word. These bottles are exceptionally hard to find—not just in the UAE, but anywhere in the world. And each brand in the collection brings its own legacy, edge, and story worth telling.

Side Hustle – The UAE’s Homegrown Malt Pioneers

Yes, these are the same trailblazers who founded the UAE’s first-ever brewery. Long before craft beer became part of the local conversation, Side Hustle was already importing small-batch brews into the country. Then they built Craft by Side Hustle, the UAE’s first brewery, paving the way for a vibrant, homegrown beverage scene.

Now, they’re making their own American whiskies and gins in the USA, but always with the UAE in mind. While the distilling takes place thousands of miles away, they stay firmly plugged into the latest global trends. They experiment, innovate, and above all, have fun doing it—and the results are extraordinary.

The Bottle Store now carries nine different Side Hustle American whiskies. A few standouts include a 10-year-old pot still Tennessee whisky, and an 18-year-old American Single Malt.

Why American Single Malt? Unlike Bourbon, which must be aged in brand-new oak, American Single Malt allows for the reuse of barrels. This not only makes it a more sustainable style but also allows the flavours and aromas from grain and age to take centre stage, resulting in a lighter, more elegant whisky.

New Riff – Independent, Family-Owned, and Respected

New Riff isn’t just another American craft distillery—it’s a modern benchmark for quality and integrity. Founded by industry veterans with a deep respect for Bourbon and Rye, New Riff has quickly earned a reputation among top whisky competitions worldwide.

Their philosophy bridges time-honoured tradition with progressive thinking, and they do it all as an independent, family-owned distillery. That means no outside pressure, no compromises, just an unwavering focus on excellence. Their Single Barrel Rye has become a cult favourite, and we’re lucky to have access to it here in the UAE.

Blanton’s – The Original Single Barrel Bourbon

For any serious Bourbon collector, Blanton’s is a non-negotiable. It was the original single barrel Bourbon, redefining American whisky when it debuted in the 1980s—and it remains one of the most sought-after bottles today.

From its distinctive bottle shape to its small-batch, limited-release format, Blanton’s is more than just whisky—it’s a statement of prestige and provenance. And yes, The Bottle Store currently has it in stock (but likely not for long).

Corsair – Trailblazers of American Craft Whisky

Corsair is one of the most boundary-pushing distilleries in the US. From the very beginning, they’ve thrown out the rulebook—experimenting boldly with grains, smoke profiles, fermentation techniques, and barrel finishes that most distilleries wouldn’t dare try.

They’ve carved out a reputation for fearless creativity, and it’s no surprise they’ve attracted global acclaim and a dedicated following among whisky professionals and adventurers alike. If innovation matters to you, Corsair delivers.

Liberty Pole – A True American Story in a Bottle

Named after the iconic flags of the American Whiskey Rebellion, Liberty Pole is all about heritage and heart. This family-run distillery is passionately reviving traditional American distilling methods, with meticulous attention to craft and historical accuracy.

What sets Liberty Pole apart is their blend of reverence for the past with modern-day precision. Every bottle is a tribute to American resilience—and a celebration of authenticity.

Whether you’re a serious collector, a curious connoisseur, or just looking to surprise someone with a gift that makes an impression, there’s something special waiting for you at The Bottle Store. If you’re anywhere near Al Ghadeer, make sure to stop by—these bottles won’t be around for long.
