Dubai Duty Free Unveils a Stunning Dedicated Wine & Spirits Store in Terminal 3

Dubai Duty Free has been refreshing its airport stores, and the crown jewel of this effort is the newly revamped Terminal 3 location, now dedicated almost entirely to wine and spirits. Of the two Dubai Duty Free stores in Terminal 3, this one is now exclusively devoted to showcasing an impressive and diverse range of beverages.

The first noticeable update is the modernized entrance, where the traditional red signage has been replaced with sleek, digital screens spanning the entrance—giving the store an upscale, contemporary feel. Inside, the thoughtfully designed layout is organized into distinct, clearly defined sections, making it easy to navigate.

For wine enthusiasts, the wine section is a standout. The spacious aisles are wide enough to accommodate travellers and their luggage, creating a comfortable shopping experience even for those just passing through. Wines are thoughtfully arranged, with large dedicated sections for popular categories like Rosé, Champagne, and Bordeaux, but there are also exciting, lesser-known selections for adventurous palates. The range includes Australian Sparkling Shiraz, Coonawarra Cabernet, Argentina’s Torrontés from Salta, Tokaji Aszú from Hungary, and more. Dubai Duty Free has also introduced sets of half-bottles, ideal for those who want to sample wines without committing to a full bottle. The fine wine selection is beautifully displayed in glass cases and state-of-the-art wine fridges.

The store also features four distinctive spirit sections. Upon entry, shoppers are greeted with a selection of popular brands. A back cellar area with rich wooden panelling highlights premium whiskies, while a well-lit showcase wall presents new products. Additionally, a glass-and-marble display houses the most exclusive bottles, which are securely kept under lock and key.

While the focus is on beverages, the store also includes a small counter for tobacco, and gold, and a currency exchange counter, catering to travellers’ additional needs.

To streamline the shopping experience, DDF has also introduced self-checkout lanes, making it easier and faster for travellers to complete their purchases before heading to their flights.
