Margaret River holds a special place in my heart. I lived and worked there for four months while studying for my first wine qualification, and it’s where I truly fell in love with the region’s wines. It helps to think of it as the Bordeaux of Australia, thanks to its:
 Maritime climate – Similar to Bordeaux, with temperature moderating ocean currents that help grapes ripen slowly to develop complex flavors.
 Gravelly soils – Perfect for drainage, creating structured and elegant wines.
 Classic grape varieties – Think Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Semillon, just like in Bordeaux!

Rosabrook: A Historic Margaret River Producer
